Spring Hours Begin!

With the first day of Spring right around the corner, we are adjusting our hours for the season! Beginning March 13, 2021 we will be OPEN on Saturdays 8AM – 2PM. Our greenhouses will be sterile and blooming, while our mulch, soils and compost will be steaming and fresh! We are open to contractors and retail, and offer curbside pickup as well as delivery of our bulk materials.

For RETAIL, get double shredded hardwood mulch for $26 a yard! This sale will last until the end of the month, so get to work mulching while the price is maddening!

Recycling Yard

Beginning on February 23, 2021 we will be accepting all materials for disposal at our new recycling yard location at 750 Watkins Center Pkwy Midlothian, VA 23114. This is now the primary location for the collection of raw materials for recycling!! Material accepted: brush, logs, stumps, yard waste/prunings, leaves, soils. Materials not accepted: Treated/Painted Wood, Pallets, Metal, Concrete, Asphalt, Bamboo. Disposals at our 101 Dry Bridge location will be limited.

Hours of Operation are 7AM-5PM Monday through Friday and Saturday 7AM to 2PM. Payment by credit/debit card or approved accounts only, NO CASH.

Watkins Nurseries Lobby is Back Open!

We are excited to announce that our lobby is now back open!! Besides frequently disinfecting our doors and counter surfaces throughout the day, maintaining a safe distance of 6 ft, and monitoring staff health, we also constructed a plexiglass shield and new desk area for our receptionist Lacy! Not only do we like to spoil Lacy, this also ensures the safety of all of our customers, so the new lobby is a win-win for everyone!
