Winter Hours Begin Jan. 2, 2025!

Happy New Year! We are starting 2025 with our Winter Schedule. While our opening time remains 7:30, our closing time will be 4:00PM until Spring. Begin the new year growing with Watkins Nurseries!

Christmas Holiday Hours at Watkins Nurseries

The week of Christmas has arrived, and with it comes our Holiday Hours!! Please see below.

When we come back our hours of operation will be changed to our Winter Hours. We will still be opening at 7:30 but we will be CLOSING AT 4PM WHEN WE COME BACK AFTER THE NEW YEAR.

We hope everyone has a safe and blessed Holiday Season. We appreciate everyone’s business in 2024, and look forward to GROWING with you all in 2025!!

Closing for Thanksgiving Holiday!

An abundance of Autumn auras are on full display for the Thanksgiving Holiday! This will be a short week, so be sure to make your debris dumps and get your plants and soil before we close early on Wednesday!

Our Thanksgiving Holiday Hours are below:

We will be OPEN MONDAY and TUESDAY NOV 25th and NOV 26th from 7:30-5:00PM.

We will be CLOSING AT 12PM on WEDNESDAY NOV 27th

We will REMAIN CLOSED BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, NOV 27th and 28th.

We will REOPEN MONDAY DEC 2, 7:30 – 5:00PM

The Market at Watkins CLOSED for the 2024 season

The Market at Watkins is closing for the 2024 Season on November 2, 2024. All remaining plants are 75% OFF!

We appreciate everyone’s patronage and support in 2024. We learned a lot about our community, how to serve their needs and expectations and we are going to be even better next year!

We hope everyone enjoys the rest of 2024, and we look forward to what the next season will bring.

Hurricane Relief Drop Off at Watkins Nurseries Midlothian Office!

The response for hurricane relief JUST this morning has been astounding!! We are so proud of and grateful for our community!!

Since we have had such an amazingly unexpected turnout, with more on the way, we are BLESSED to have secured another truck and driver! Now we will be able to make TWO deliveries to those with the greatest need!

Please make sure your donations are dropped off at our Midlothian office location by 5pm Friday the 11th for our first relief delivery.

Please have your donations at our Midlothian office by 5pm Friday the 18th for our second relief delivery!

Items accepted are:

– First aid kits

– Toilet paper / Paper Towels / Paper Plates, Bowls, and Utensils

– Diapers/ wipes/baby food

– Batteries

– Flashlights

– Non Electric Can Opener

-Hand warmer packs

– Wet Wipes

– Trash Bags / Reusable bags

– Hand Sanitizer

– Canned goods and non perishable foods (pretzels, crackers, nuts, granola bars, – food that doesn’t need to be cooked, etc).

– Personal hygiene items men and women

– Bottled water

– Lighters / matches / candles

– New blankets with tag or wrapping

Fall hasn’t officially started yet, but our Fall Schedule has! 

Beginning today, we will be OPEN 7:30AM-5:00PM, MONDAY – FRIDAY!

Fresh Produce Restock!!

We’ve just restocked with fresh produce from Hanover Vegetable Farm and the peaches and apples are absolutely AMAZING! In addition, we’ve got zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, green tomatoes, and adorable baby pumpkins!

But that’s not all—Eldon’s Famous Potato Chips, known for their original sea salt flavor and made in small batches right here in Amelia, has just introduced a new BBQ flavor, and we’ve got it in stock! These chips are the perfect crunch to complement your produce haul.
